What you need

1 ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

10 cherry tomato

1 fresh basil leaves

1 pasta

1 tbsp chili oil
4 tbsp pasta water
Instructions
0 Boil pasta in salted water per package instructions. Right before time is up, reserve 1 cup of pasta water and set aside for later. 1 Grate parmesan and cut softened cream cheese into small pieces. Slice cherry tomatoes into quarters. 2 Stack rinsed and dried basil leaves on top of one another and roll as tightly as you can. Slice thinly into ribbons. 3 Into a big bowl, add cream cheese and parmesan. Then add the freshly cooked pasta directly from the pot followed by the cherry tomatoes, basil and a splash of pasta water. 4 Mix the pasta until the cheese melts and becomes a creamy "sauce" and coats the pasta. If the sauce is too thick for your liking, add more pasta water. 5 Add chili oil to your taste and mix well (see notes). Serve and enjoy!View original recipe
