2 Melt butter in a pan over medium low heat and pour in neutral oil. 6 Add the minced onions and salt to the pan. 3 Stir every few minutes until the onions caramelize. If the onions look like its burning, turn down the heat. This will take at least 30 minutes or longer. 1 Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and set aside. 0 Bake/Fry the frozen fries per the package instructions. 4 Once the fries are cooked, add grated cheddar cheese or sliced American cheese on top and broil for 3-5 minutes or until the cheese melts. 5 Once the cheese melts, add the caramelized onions and pour the sauce on top and enjoy!View original recipe
