What you need

tbsp garlic

kimchi

cup heavy cream

tbsp gochujang

tbsp light soy sauce

tsp sugar

cup grated parmesan cheese

cup shredded cheddar
cup pasta water

tbsp butter
Instructions
5 Boil pasta according to package instructions and reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water. 0 In a cold pan over medium heat, add sliced bacon. Pan fry until cooked and crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside for later. 1 To the same pan over medium heat, sauté onions in the bacon grease until translucent. Add minced garlic and minced kimchi. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. 2 Pour in heavy cream and stir. Add gochujang, light soy sauce, sugar and the cheese. Stir until well combined and bring to a simmer. 3 Turn heat down to medium low and add 1/4 cup pasta water, pasta and butter. Stir until every strand of pasta is coated with the sauce and turn off heat (see notes). 4 Serve and add crispy bacon on top. Garnish with parsley and add more shredded parmesan on top.
