Thinking of how to use your leftover croissants? Then give this easy Korean Garlic Bread Inspired Croissant Bake a try! Bite sized croissant pieces are coated with cream cheese and garlic butter mixtures, then baked to perfection.
Cream Cheese Mixture
Garlic Butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cut the croissants into thirds and set aside for later. Grease an 8x8 oven safe pan/dish for the croissant bake.
In a bowl, add softened cream cheese and heavy whipping cream (if the cream cheese is still hard, microwave for 15-30 seconds). Mix until combined. Add an egg and condensed milk. Continue mixing until well combined and smooth. You want the mixture to be runny.
In a separate bowl, melt butter and add garlic, salt, condensed milk, parsley and chili flakes/powder. Mix well.
Assembling
Dip the croissant one at a time into the cream cheese mixture for a few seconds, making sure it’s well coated but not soggy. Tap off excess and place into the greased pan/dish. Keep doing this and arrange the dipped croissant next to each other.
Pour the garlic butter mixture (optional step: reserve about 1 tbsp for later) all over from the bowl or with a spoon and make sure every surface is covered.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the top is golden and toasted.
Optional step: Brush on the remaining garlic butter mixture on top and add more parsley and chili flakes/pepper. Best served while hot. Enjoy!
