Dive into this easy Crispy Fried Garlic Beef, featuring tender beef slices infused with an aromatic garlic paste and seasoned marinade, then fried to a golden crisp.
Garlic Shallot Paste
Marinade
Blend garlic cloves, shallots and water in a blender or food processor until you get a paste.
Add the thinly sliced beef into a large bowl and add the garlic shallot paste. Add the rest of the ingredients for the marinade and mix well. Set aside to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
After marinating, add flour to the beef and mix well until each slice of beef is coated.
Heat up oil over medium low heat and once hot enough, add a few slices of the beef making sure to spread it out instead of frying it bundled up. Fry until the outer coating of the beef turns lightly golden brown, stirring or flipping occassionally (see notes).
Serve while hot with lime wedges and rice. Enjoy!
